Membership in the Parish Choir is open to men, women, and young adults who carry on the tradition of four-part choral music through their leadership at the 10:00 AM Sunday liturgy. Music of all periods and styles is included in the choral repertoire. Rehearsals are held on Thursday, beginning at 7:00 PM.

Men, women, and young adults who sing or play guitar, flute, or other mellow-sounding instruments are welcome to offer their gifts through membership in the Guitar Group. This group leads the assembly at the 4:00 PM liturgy on Saturday. This ensemble rehearses on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 PM in the Father Byrne Conference Room.

The Adult Handbell Choir employs a four-octave set of Malmark handbells to present solo literature and liturgical music for festival days. Men and women who wish to join this choir must be able to read music. The choir enhances the liturgical prayer of our parish family at various times throughout the year. Rehearsals are held on Thursday from 9:00 until 10:00 PM.

The High School Handbell Choir, “The Brass,” rehearses weekly, as scheduled. This choir is open to any high school student.

The Cantor Guild is comprised of individual cantors and psalmists who lead the assembly in music and chant the verses to the psalm at weekend liturgies, weddings, funerals, and other liturgical gatherings of the parish family. An audition is required for this ministry. Rehearsals are scheduled monthly by arrangement with a member of the music staff.

The Resurrection Choir is a dedicated group of men and women who are available, usually on weekday mornings, to support the assembly at funeral liturgies. No audition is necessary. Rehearsals are held immediately prior to each funeral liturgy.

The Life Teen Music Group provides contemporary Christian music for the 5:00 PM Sunday liturgy. Adults and high school teens who have experience singing or playing an instrument are invited to participate. If you are interested, please contact Ed Haran at (734) 678‑1703. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and on Sunday before the 5:00 PM mass.
