After a general orientation session on November 2, 2003, Environmental Task Forces working with the Master’s Plan Team (MPT) began assessing the internal and external parish environments. These groups located strategic issues in the following areas:

The MPT then established Mission, Vision, and Core Value Statements based on the strategic issues identified.

At this point, Capacity Task Forces went into action to assess the capability of the Parish to fulfill the mission, vision, and core value statements. They examined the following areas:

Based on the Mission, Vision, and Core Value Statements and the findings of the Capacity Task Forces, the MPT established Three-Year Goals and Strategies for the Parish.

In order to develop annual objectives for the coming year, the MPT established a Capacity Recommendations Task Force and an Annual Objectives Task Force. The Capacity Recommendations Task Force developed high-priority recommendations and action plans for finance and for each of the capacity areas previously noted.

Supported by these capacity recommendations and action plans, the Annual Objectives Task Force established the 2004-05 Annual Objectives to implement the Three-Year Goals and Strategies for the Parish.

The above efforts were aided and supported by the Prayer Task Force and Communications Task Force.

The Master’s Plan process began in November 2003 and was completed in September 2004. Over 120 parishioners participated in the process.

The Parish Council is expected to adopt the 2004-05 Annual Objectives and carry them out during the 2004-05 fiscal year.

Implementation of the objectives will be monitored by the Parish Council, which will inform parishioners of progress in the execution of The Master’s Plan.
