Reconciliation
Children who are at least seven years old may prepare to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. Formation begins before the first reception of the Eucharist with a non-sacramental Family Penitential Liturgy. Parent orientation and the sacramental celebration of Reconciliation usually take place when children are about nine years old.
