Students in high school are invited to take part in Lifeteen. This formative ministry is rooted in the celebration of the Sunday Eucharist. Gatherings begin with the 5:00 PM liturgy each Sunday, where the teens are actively involved in hospitality, the proclamation of the Word, and the administration of the Eucharist to the assembly. Immediately following the liturgy, the teens meet in the Lifeteen Room and social hall for Life Night. Along with food and fellowship, these gatherings include activities that challenge the teens to grow spiritually, educationally, emotionally, and socially. We provide a safe environment that is open, loving, safe, and accepting so that the teens are able to freely express their feelings, emotions, questions, and concerns about living as a Catholic Christian teen. Strengthening a sense of community and building strong, healthy relationships are very important to Lifeteen.
Lifeteen gives our young people the opportunity to become more fully involved in the life of the parish family through prayer, service, outreach, and social events. Lifeteen welcomes young people from the parish, their friends, and teens from surrounding churches.
