Beloved wife of 30 wonderful years to the late Sam Tamer. Loving mother to David (Wendy) Tamer, Mark (Kim) Tamer, Chris (Elizabeth) Tamer, Jason (Jann) Tamer. Dear grandmother to Tara, David II, Ashley, Jessica, Tyler, Sean, Cam, Courtney, Sam, Christina, Julia, and Jimmy. Proud great-grandmother to many.
Dorothy found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had an unmatched affinity for nature, finding peace in the gentle rustle of leaves and the graceful flight of birds. Many will remember her as the kind soul who spent countless hours watching wildlife from her window and tending to her cherished bird feeder, where feathered friends gathered as if drawn by her gentle spirit.
But Dorothy's love for adventure knew no bounds. Her zest for life led her to explore the world, discovering new cultures and soaking in the beauty of diverse landscapes. Travel wasn't just a hobby for Dorothy; it was a passion that fueled her spirit and enriched her soul.
Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and her devotion to Our Lady of Good Counsel was unwavering. Dorothy found fulfillment in serving her community, whether it was through her active involvement in her church or her dedication to helping feed the homeless. Her compassion knew no limits, and her selfless acts of kindness touched the lives of many.
Amid her altruism and wanderlust, Dorothy's heart truly lit up in the company of her family. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for generations to come. Her laughter was infectious, and her ability to find joy in the simplest of moments brought light to those around her.
