Julie Ann LaFata, born on January 24, 1959, to James and Molly Remski, peacefully entered eternal life surrounded by her loving family on November 23, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents and leaves behind a legacy of love as a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister.
Julie was a proud mother to her two sons, Michael (Michelle) and Andrew (Jaclyn), and cherished her role as a grandmother to Mia, Jake, Mason, Lexi, Aaron, and Aubrey. Her nurturing spirit and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew her.
As the beloved sister to Mary (Sam), Janet (preceded in death by Jeff), Jean (Rick), Jim (Kathy), Martha (Robert), and Jane (Darryl), Julie shared a bond of love and support that will forever remain in their hearts.
A lifelong member of the Catholic faith, Julie found strength in her relationship with God Julie’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will remember her for her warmth, laughter, and unwavering support.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 26th from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home 46401 Ann Arbor Road West, Plymouth (between Sheldon and Beck Rd).
A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Council Church on Wednesday November 27th. The instate will take place at 10AM with Mass at 10:30AM.
May Julie Ann LaFata rest in peace, embraced by the love of God and surrounded by the angels. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
