Beloved husband of Margene (Lindamann) of 38 years. Dear brother of Frances (Larry) Koch and the late Paul and Susan. Dear son of the late Gerald and Ceslawa (Dobkowski) Coulter. Mark was born January 29, 1951 in Detroit, MI. He enjoyed cooking chili, hiking, working in his yard and just being outdoors. Mark graduated from St. Mary’s of Redford in 1969 and then graduated from Michigan State University. He was a Super Spartan Fan. He was also a founding member of the Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church men’s prayer breakfast, as well as being very active and involved at church. Mr. Coulter retired twice, once from the State of Michigan, Department of Corrections and once from Washtenaw County of Community Corrections. Visitation 1-4 pm Sunday, March 26, 2023 at the O’Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave Novi, MI 48375. A Memorial Mass will take place in the next few weeks at Our Lady of Good Counsel, Plymouth, MI. TBD. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Capuchins www.cskdetroit.org or Henry Ford Hospice.
