Mission Doctor Association

Elise Frederick is the Executive Director of Mission Doctors Association, having worked with MDA for more than 40 years. Prior to joining the MDA team, Elise served with her then young family, for three years in the Northwest of Thailand. Elise will be speaking at all the Masses at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish on September 9 – September 10 on behalf of Mission Doctors Association as part of the Archdiocese of Detroit Missionary Cooperative Plan.

Since 1959, Mission Doctors Association has made it possible for Catholic Doctors, Dentists, Physican Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners to share their gifts and live their faith at mission hospitals in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Pacific. These medical professionals provide both direct patient care and training for local healthcare professionals, always with the goal of working themselves out of a job.
